DOS is a pioneer in deep water survey, salvage & positioning, providing unique expertise to offshore industry & governments since 20 years.
The company operates worldwide from 0 to 11000m depth, running challenging projects, some of them leading to major world records these past few years (deepest cargo salvage, deepest shipwreck ever discovered, largest surface surveyed under-ice.)
DOS works with highly qualified people & state of the art equipment. We are looking for competent survey engineers, hydrographic surveyors, data processors, who are enthusiastic & motivated to learn new skills.
- Mobilising and/or operating equipment onboard survey vessels & subsea vehicles (USBL/LBL, INS aided system, MBES, Magnetometer, Side Scan, Photogrammetry, Camera, Multiplexer…)
- Operating a navigation software & data acquisition systems.
- Ensuring maintenance & operability of the online survey spread as well as making sure that all incoming data meet project specifications.
- Post-processing the data, producing charts & reports.
- Working collaboratively with the marine crew & the survey team to meet client requirements.
- Academic and/or Navy qualification in hydrography, survey, geophysics, subsea operations.
- Valid offshore medical, survival & safety certification with CA-EBS (OPITO is a plus).
- Online/offline survey experience
- Qinsy experience is a plus.
